Last Wednesday we were given the day off for National Foundation Day. We took it upon ourselves to spend this beautiful day outside and do something active. I met up with Kyle, Allie, and Allie's mom near Coex, where they were staying. Along with Heather, we hopped on the subway to Yongmasan.
The mountain is next to a waterfall park, however, the waterfall was dry -- womp womp. The hike was still great, and had lots of great views from different observation platforms. I took tons of pictures at each one, but they all ended up looking very similar. It is the kind of view you have to be there to appreciate.
We made it to the top, ran into some of Heather's other friends, took some pictures, and enjoyed delicious melon pops before turning back and heading down the way we came. It was a great and different way to spend my Wednesday this week.

After the hike we headed to Costco, stocked up on lots of
deliciousness, and enjoyed a yummy picnic under the stars. It was a fabulous way to
spend National Foundation Day, if I do say so.
