This week I finally came to understand this multiple Valentine's day thing Korea has going on. So, here it goes. Valentines Day (2/14) is a day for woman to give men chocolate and gifts. White Day (3/14) is exactly a month later and is for men to give woman gifts to pay them back for the gifts we gave them on Valentines day, usually candy. Black day (4/14) is the month after that, and is for everyone who didn't get to celebrate on the first two, to eat noodles with black bean sauce and celebrate the single life. So basically, the students brought in gifts. again. Win win for us teachers, if i say so myself.
One of my new little ones came in with this awesome gift for me. The tea is delicious!
